Spider-Man Shortlist Narrowed Down To Three Actors

Sony and Marvel search for a brand new live-action Spider-Man could soon be over, as fan favourite Asa Butterfield is cut from the shortlist.
This comes as a shock, as fans thought Butterfield had the Web-slinger in the bag, but obvously not. As The Wrap's Jeff Sneider reported on the latest episode of Meet The Movie Press Live, he's heard only three actors remain in the race. According to Sneider, the three actors still in the running are Tom Holland, Charlie Plummer, and Matthew Lintz.
According to Sneider, Marvel is favoring Plummer while Sony wants Holland. Sony reportedly wants Holland so badly, that they’ve pushed him ahead as the new frontrunner.
Looks like we're just going to have to sit and wait, like we always do! Bring Andrew back ;)
